WHAT IS WORTH SEEING AND VISITING
CHARLOTTE VALLEY (DOLINA CHARLOTTY)
The Charlotte Valley hides many wonderful places where you will find many unforgettable impressions.
In the Charlotte Valley you can see many species of animals and the heroes of the popular fairy tales, whose carved figures and their fantastic houses are in an unusual setting. This little kingdom of fun and learning is surrounded by wild nature and beautiful scenery.
Pigmejka is worth seeing – a cute little monkey that measures 10-11 cm and weighs around 100-150 g.
There is a seal pen near the ZOO – the kingdom of the gray seals, where Charlotte’s students willingly showcase their charms.
After a tiring but enjoyable and informative trip, you can go to the nearby Foczy Bar or have a dessert in Gościniec, a beautiful waterfront restaurant with a local smokehouse next to it.
DARŁOWO

Darłowo is a town at the mouth of the Wieprza River into the Baltic Sea, with beautiful monuments and a rich history. The medieval street layout with the pre-war buildings on the market square has been preserved in the city to this day. Darłowo means not only beautiful monuments, but also a healing microclimate, 20 km wide beaches, clean nature. The charm of this city attracts thousands of tourists every year.
The sliding bridge in Darłówek. In the 1980s, the old drawbridge over the Wieprza River, which connected East Darłówko with West Darłówko, was rebuilt and replaced by an extendable bridge. The sliding bridge is the only bridge of its kind in Poland, so it is worth taking a moment to see it.
Beach – Darłówko. Beach – Darłówko as a seaside resort has a beautiful beach, actually beaches – because the coast is divided into two parts by the Wieprza River, which flows into the sea through a 20-kilometer stretch of beach. East Darłówko has a beach that is separated from the sea by stones. This beach has a volleyball court and inflatable slides. The western beach is sandy, much larger, and nothing separates it from the sea. Tourists can take advantage of the wide range of water equipment rentals and water attractions, such as: a ride on an inflatable banana.
The lighthouse. The lighthouse is located at the mouth of the Wieprza River, right at the entrance to the port in Darłówek. Currently the lighthouse is 22 meters high and on its top there is a modern mechanism that shows the ships the way. Currently, tourists can admire the state from 1927, when the building was last renovated.
The port in Darłówek, a district of Darłowo, is the main destination for hikers. It covers a 3-kilometer section of Wieprza and is an active transshipment, fishing and tourist port. Tourists can admire ships with a length of up to 75 meters and a draft of up to 4 meters. Most interesting for tourists is the east port, from which cruise ships leave. In West Darłówek we can see yachts moored on the quay
Castle – Museum of the Pomeranian Dukes – this representative building was built by Bogusław V in the second half of the 14th century. The castle was built in 20 years and was so impressive that it was given the respectable name of Pomeranian Dukes. In the museum, tourists can see monuments of Pomeranian folk art, historical wooden sculptures, in the knight’s hall an exhibition of sacred art, there is also a place for art by contemporary artists. Remember not to just pay attention to the exhibits. The castle itself is an invaluable monument, and the restored rooms can transport us into the atmosphere of the Middle Ages.
RUSINOWO

Rusinowo is an old coastal village (probably founded in the 13th century). At the highest point of Rusinowo there is a neo-Gothic church. Rusinowo was founded a little off the coast, today the village is “moving” towards the Baltic Sea and is located between the seaside resorts of Wicie and Jarosławiec, about 13 kilometers from Darłowo and 23 kilometers from Ustka.
The local beach is definitely worth seeing in Rusinowo. Rusinowo is not directly on the sea – it is separated from the city by a strip of forest (approx. 1 km wide). It is approx. 2 kilometers from the town center to the beach. If you don’t like the crowds on the beach, you will definitely like the beach in Rusinowo. We can safely say that the beach is the widest in the area and is sandy. For drivers, the road section of the airport will be advantageous, thanks to which there is a large parking lot near the beach.
JAROSŁAWIEC
“Polish Dubai” – it is said that this beach that we are showing you today is the so-called Polish Dubai. Whether that is the case or not – everyone should judge for themselves. We would like to introduce you to a few interesting facts. Jarosławiec is a seaside tourist destination famous for having the largest man-made beach in Europe built by the sea. It is a project by the Maritime Office that aims to rehabilitate and rebuild the beach. Effect? 5 hectares of beach for tourists and one of the cleanest bathing areas in Poland.
Fishing port – this is where we took our photo, which you can admire in one of the houses, Złoty Brzeg Wicie. The photo is from last year’s vacation, no filter and no corrections. Take a trip and see for yourself what the ships look like today. Traditional, colorful “houses” as well as fishing boats anchored by the sea create a unique atmosphere. Souvenir photos in this place will look amazing! We chose this place to take photos for with good reason. There is a historic brick building at the fishing port (there was a Maltese tavern there until 2019). There is also a pier near the fishing port in Jarosławiec, from which cruises depart.
Jarosławiec promenade is the center of commercial and gastronomic life in the spa. The main promenade is the 250 meter long fragment of Nadmorska Street from the lighthouse and Rybaka Square to Plac Nadmorski, right by the sea. Here is the Amber Museum, as well as numerous shops with amber jewelry or souvenirs, as well as cafes, pubs and restaurants. In 2017, the promenade was thoroughly revitalized, making it a really representative Jarosławiec Street.
The lighthouse – a beautiful brick lighthouse in Jarosławiec from 1838 is one of the tallest and best preserved on the Polish coast. It rises 33 meters above Jarosławiec and from its terrace you have a view of the Baltic Sea, pine forests, the panorama of the village and 2 surrounding lakes: Wicko and Kopań. Its light extends 42 km from the shore – the lighthouse is still in operation today!
The Amber Museum – this is not a boring museum! Here you will learn in an unusual way how Baltic amber was made. A reconstruction of an amber forest with resin-soaked trees was created inside the building. An underground amber mine has been built, where you will see one of the largest lumps of amber in Poland and learn about the methods and places of amber extraction. The inclusion room takes you into the world of flying insects that are enclosed in amber nuggets.
KOPAŃ
In Kopań, tourists will find a wide sandy beach with clean dunes and fragrant pine forests – it is the perfect place for a vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, so that everyone can have a sense of intimacy. Even during the holiday season, nobody will feel overcrowded here on the beach. Access to the beach is wide, sandy, and comfortable.
A big attraction of the nearby beach is Lake Kopań, which is located south of the village of Wicie and north of the village of Kopań. Kopań is a fairly large (almost 900 ha) coastal lake. A narrow strip of land separates it from the Baltic Sea. It’s also an ideal spot for fishing enthusiasts – you can catch pike, eel, perch, tench and even pikeperch here. Lovers of sailing holidays as well as kite and windsurfers get their money’s worth here – wind and waves are almost always here.
